| APEX 4.0 New Features | This class is aimed at those who have been using APEX for at least a year. It covers all of the new features introduced in APEX 4.0, and describes how you can take advantage of them in your applications. | | APEX Best Practices | Even if you’ve been using APEX for a while, it can still be confusing to know if you’re doing things in the best way. This course covers a wide variety of tips, techniques, development practices and workflows which will not only help to increase your productivity but also assist in making your development easier and more maintainable.
| | APEX Installation and Administration | Learn what you need to understand about how to manage an instance of APEX. This course focuses on the administrative side of APEX - how to install, configure and properly maintain APEX in your environment. This course is intended for DBAs and System Administrators. | | Advanced Oracle APEX | APEX provides a rapid way to develop very functional applications in a very short amount of time, but to truly make those applications enterprise ready you have to go beyond what the basic wizards can do. This class provides you with the knowledge necessary to move beyond the basics and into advanced areas necessary for enterprise level applications. | | BI Publiser Integration with APEX | This details the installation, integration and use of BI Publisher with APEX, covering simple and complex reporting and many advanced usage scenarios. | | Integrating APEX & Web Services | This course discusses web services and how they can be used in APEX. Creation of Web Service References as well as using those reference in forms and reports will be covered. Advanced web service topics include consuming and exposing web services via PL/SQL. | | Intermediate Oracle APEX | Intermediate APEX covers more advanced APEX concepts, such as APIs, collections and other programmatic features of APEX. As with every course we deliver, students will spend ample time with hands-on exercises. | | Introduction to Oracle APEX I | This course covers all of the fundamentals of APEX 4.0 by using an intensive hands-on approach. Students will build a functioning application as they explore the basic navigational, logic, and programmatic concepts of APEX application development. | | Introduction to Oracle APEX II | This course picks up where Intro to APEX I leaves off. It covers Ajax, using Dynamic Actions & Plugins, security, user interface design, performance tuning and developer tools. It also covers the new modules of APEX 4.0 - Team Development & WebSheets. | | Mastering Charts, Gantts and Maps | This course looks at the complexities of charts, gantts and maps and how the can be used effectively within an application to present data visually. It covers built in charts and discusses extending the charting engine with newer versions of the AnyChart engine. |
